Roland Acheampong is an All-Canadian athlete, executive manager, sales director, and entrepreneur. Roland’s impressive and expansive career includes executive roles at IBM, Rogers Media, OMNI Television, CTV, TSN, and Warren Buffett's Business Wire where he led the company as Country Manager.
After attaining numerous athletic awards and accolades at both collegiate and international levels at the University of Western Ontario, Roland built a strong reputation in high-tech and media sales, and led several start-up companies —including dot-commer Grey Matter, communications corporation Conexys, and leading health company T-Zone— to global expansion.
Roland is also is a successful entrepreneur, having co-founded an international real estate and trade corporation, Ontario’s leading piano brokerage, a children's after-school sports and mentorship organization, and a sewing company that currently impacts thousands of new kids every week across the Greater Toronto Area with its school-wide programs that focus on mindfulness, confidence, inclusion, and equity.
Roland continually pushes for the biggest and the best in everything he undertakes while inspiring those around him. Having grown up in Toronto’s roughest neighbourhood, Roland credits mentors to his personal and professional success, and gives back by helping others build confidence and overcome obstacles.
